Job description

This is a full-time role as a Junior Software Developer at ePlan Consultants. The Junior Software Developer / Analyst Engineer will contribute to the development and support of software solutions under the guidance of more experienced developers.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in back-end web development.
  • Provide support to customers via phone, email or chat.
  • Perform various software development and programming tasks.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to design and implement efficient code.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to deliver high-quality software.
  • Document and track support requests.

Must Have

  • Strong understanding of Computer Science and Software Development principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of software design principles.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Support and Trou​bleshooting skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with Python experience.
  • Knowledge of software testing and debugging.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
